About Singapore Maritime Week
Driven by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, Singapore Maritime Week gathers the international maritime community for a week of flagship conferences, dialogues, exhibitions and social events in celebration of all things maritime. The range of activities and events organised by MPA, industry stakeholders and research and educational institutions, as well as the cosmopolitan profile of participants, reflect the vibrancy and diversity of Singapore as a global hub port and leading international maritime centre.
Since its inauguration in 2006, SMW has grown significantly and now attracts over 40,000 local and international participants yearly. In each themed edition, SMW gathers eminent global speakers to address a broad range of challenges faced by today’s decision-makers. Apart from the range of business platforms at SMW, participants can also expect to experience something new every year with the unique line-up of networking and outreach activities.
Singapore Maritime Week, a global maritime hub for driving connectivity, innovation and talent through People, Ideas and Opportunities.
The Singapore Maritime Week brandmark has been thoughtfully designed to represent a compass and a starburst.
The compass depicts the attraction of international maritime players to the Singapore Maritime Week.
The starburst represents a burst of energy that brings together various maritime events and activities in Singapore. The starburst also represents Singapore as an exciting player in the global maritime industry.
