Port of Sines' Open Innovation Roadmap on Green and Digital Transition

The Port of Sines is developing a roadmap on Green and digital Transition, whose main tool is the NEXUS Agenda, a project developing 28 innovative solutions aiming at decarbonising the different knots of the entire logistic chain.

One of the outcomes of the project is the Port Cyber Arena, consisting of a cyber range for real scenarios training in cybersecurity, geared to perform training activities to the transport and logistic sector, framed within the port's strategy to contribute to the enhancement of cyber-resilience.

Besides the Port Cyber Arena, the Port of Sines is also developing an Open Data Collaborative Platform, consisting of a marketplace for datasets and digital solutions. ZERO emissions vessels and harbour crafts are being developed within the scope of energy transition, as well as a series of digital tools supporting investment decisions on renewable energy production (solar, wind, waves, etc), an energy management system, and a third solution geared on the operation of the grid.

Sines is the Portuguese port serving the country's H2 and green fuels main cluster, thus aligning its green transition strategy to serve an ever more demanding and competitive market, while reinforcing the stepping in different Green Corridors.
