Join us on Thursday, 23 April, for Talent@SMW – the manpower programme of EXPO@SMW showcasing the diverse range of career pathways and talent that is driving the growth and transformation of the maritime industry.

Designed for students, jobseekers, and mid-careerists, Talent@SMW features a Talent Pavilion with booths from Institutes of Higher Learning and training providers, an interactive MaritimeOne job portal, and a hands-on drone flying experience demonstrating the use of drones in maritime operations.

Throughout the day, attendees can engage directly with HR representatives from prominent maritime companies and youths in the maritime industry, attend career talks and presentations by industry partners at the EXPO Theatre, and participate in guided tours of the various zones and booths at EXPO@SMW. Attendees also stand a chance to win exclusive prizes when they complete the various engagement activities.

As ports, shipping companies, and logistics networks become increasingly intelligent and interconnected, future maritime professionals must be equipped to operate in environments characterised by uncertainty, complexity, and continuous innovation. In response to these shifts, preparing the next generation of maritime talent requires strong integration between education, research, and industry practice.
