Mr Hor Weng Yew has more than 30 years of experience in the maritime industry. He is currently the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Carriers Limited Group, the shipping arm of the Kuok Group and sits on various Boards of companies in Kuok (Singapore) Limited (KSL). In his recent years in the Kuok Group, Mr Hor has been driving the organization's transformation and business portfolio diversification, underscoring a renewed and dedicated focus on process excellence, safety, strategy-driven decision-making and talent development.
Prior to joining KSL, Mr Hor was the Preisdent & Chief Executive Officer of American Eagle Tankers (AET). He was involved in the pioneering team of AET in its formative years under Neptune Orient Lines Singapore and continued to play an instrumental role in the growth of the company in its subsequent ownership under the MISC Group of companies.
Mr Hor holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) Degree from the National University of Singapore and Masters of Science (MSC) in Shipping, Trade & Finance (Distinction) from the City University BUsiness School London (subsequently renamed CASS Business School, City University of London). In recent years, he also participated in the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme (AMP) in France in his continued pursuit of management excellence. Mr Hor also plays an active role in the maritime industry in the international front as well as in maritime Singapore. He is Chairman and Board Member of Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF). In addition, he sits on the Baord of Gard P&I (Bermuda) Ltd, Singapore War Risk Mutual Committee (SWRM), and the Advisory Board of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Maritime Studies programme.

Caroline has over 30 years of experience in the shipping industry. Kickstarting her career as Hong Lam Marine’s in-house legal counsel in 1991. In her current role as CEO, she also directly oversees the legal and human resources functions in the company.
Caroline was first elected as President of the Singapore Shipping Association in 2019, becoming the first female to helm the association since its inception in 1985. She is also the Vice-Chair at the International Chamber of Shipping. Currently serving her third term, Caroline has seen through some of the association’s most challenging times. Her first two years in office was during the outbreak of COVID-19 and she oversaw various initiatives that placed Singapore at the forefront of the global response to the plight of seafarers. More recently, Caroline is committed to leading the industry in areas of digital transformation, cybersecurity, decarbonisation, talent attraction and retention.

Mr Simon Kuik oversees the research and development division at Sembcorp Marine and is responsible for developing new technologies, product innovations and solutions. He is the Chairman of LMG Marin AS, Gravifloat AS and Sevan SSP AS in Norway, Sembmarine SSP Inc. in USA and Semb-Eco Pte Ltd based in Singapore. Simon is the Secretariat of Sustainability council, he is responsible for the Group's sustainability strategy and policies.
Prior to this, Mr Kuik was the General Manager (Technology Development and Solutions) in charge of the development of green technology, His other positions previously held includes Yard Manager of overseas shipyard in China, Assistant GM (Engineering) and GM (Operations).
Mr Kuik is currently the President of the Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI). He also serves as a member of various major industrial councils, research institutions and educational institution committees. These include the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF), Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council, Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore Institute of Technology, University of Glasgow of Singapore, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Energy Studies Institute (ESI).
Mr Kuik holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) in Naval Architecture Marine Technology from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England and an MBA from Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.
